ULMS Community Conversations!

Let’s Talk! The Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle (ULMS) is planning a community conversation with the Statewide Poverty Action Network, and looking for community members to participate in the conversation about direct cash assistance or receiving services such as TANF, SNAP, and Working Families Tax Credit (WFTC).

They would love to chat, and start a conversation about the stigma of receiving resources, the history of welfare, and the financial support given to people in need.

Compensation for your time and travel expenses will be available.
