COO All-Partner Gathering - December 14, 10am-4pm 

As a COO partner, we are excited to invite you to a special in-person convening on Thursday, December 14th from 10am-4pm (doors open at 9am) at the Northwest African American Museum (2300 S Massachusetts St, Seattle, WA 98144). We are honored to be able to have a remote keynote from multi-genre writer, facilitator, and duala, adrienne maree brown, a panel conversation with Elmer Dixon, Aurora Martin, and Jaelynn Scott, and several sessions to provide space for connection, reflection and practice.

Join with the groups, organizations, staff, and leadership that make up the COO network in this day of connection, learning, and sharing. Conversations of the day will touch on some of the themes and discussions happening here and beyond, on the work, struggles and learnings for building & wielding collective, community power for greater equity, justice and well-being. This will also be an opportunity to share space, build and strengthen relationships, and collectively reimagine and strategize across the work. RSVP here!

  • When: December 14th, from 10am – 4 pm

  • Where: Northwest African American Museum (2300 S Massachusetts St, Seattle, WA 98144)

  • Transportation & Parking: There is limited free parking available in the NWAAM parking lot, directly outside the museum. Please park in museum parking only (labeled MUSEUM), as there is resident parking in the other spots. There is also free street parking available on 23rd Ave S or 25 Ave S. The museum is easy to access via public transportation as well. Please visit King County Metro Trip Planner for directions.

  • We will have coffee, tea, and small bites available in the morning as well as a catered lunch.

  • There will be simultaneous Spanish-language interpretation available. Please connect with us if there are additional ways we can support your full participation at the event.

  • There will be an opportunity to purchase books by adrienne maree brown and other authors during lunch and breaks through loving room books.

  • If there is available space COO will open the opportunity to additional groups to attend, so please RSVP as soon as possible so we can have an accurate count of attendees. More information including the final agenda will be shared in the coming weeks. RSVP here!
