The African Community Housing & Development team is proud to present the NEW SeaTac Farmer’s Market, starting in July and running through November, 2024.
The market brings fresh, local, culturally relevant food and goods to the SeaTac area!
ACHD is partnering with their hosts at the Matt Griffin YMCA to launch this once-monthly SeaTac Farmers Market pilot, which will take place on the first Wednesday of each month from 3-7 pm beginning July 3rd thru November 6th.
July 3rd | August 7th | September 4th | October 2nd | November 6th
We are one of the only BIPOC-priority markets in the area, focused on providing culturally relevant food and goods to diverse communities across the south end. Our markets center culture and cultivate community, working to build food security in historic food apartheid zones (or food desert neighborhoods) along with access to holistic health and wellness programming, while eliminating barriers to market access for farmers, chefs, and artisans of color.
We are creating a one-stop-shop for all our neighbors regardless of income to celebrate the seasonal abundance our local farmers and food producers provide.
