Voices of Tomorrow

2023-24 Award - Systems and Policy Change - $125,000

In 2023 and 2024, Voices of Tomorrow (VOT) will work toward systems and policy change that will bring economic equity to immigrant and refugee Family Child Care (FCC) providers in King County. VOT will work toward state legislative policy changes to remove restrictions on FCC businesses in homes; policy changes at a state, county, city level to fund licensed FCC providers on par with licensed childcare centers; and systemic change to implement new inclusive practices in places where governmental agencies develop funding mechanisms that affect immigrant and refugee FCC providers.
