Catalyst Grant Program - Urban Institute and Microsoft

The Urban Institute and the Microsoft Justice Reform Initiative are requesting proposals for the next round of the Catalyst Grant Program, due November 22. The program supports 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations across the country conducting local projects using data and technology to advance racial equity in the adult criminal legal system.

They are seeking projects that support policies, programs, and practices that prevent unnecessary criminal legal system involvement and decrease racial and ethnic disparities in the front end of the criminal legal system. Each grantee will receive funds to cover project implementation; assistance on data, evidence-based policy, and community engagement from Urban; access to Microsoft technology and related support; and peer learning opportunities.
