The prenatal to five workforce does incredible work to support babies, children, and their families. Best Starts Workforce Development strategy focuses on strengthening this workforce by providing opportunities to build knowledge, strengthen skills, and promote shared community healing.
This RFA seeks to fund smaller organizations (15 employees or fewer) to enhance their workforce skills and knowledge in three key areas of Workforce Development:
Early Childhood Development
Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health
Racial Equity
Funded items may include, but are not limited to:
Prenatal to Five focused trainings, conferences, or professional development fees
Community building activities
Developing and hosting workshops related to culturally responsive Healthy Childhood Development, Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health and Racial Equity
