Civil Survival provides civic education and mobilizes formerly incarcerated individuals and their network of family and friends to advocate for greater participation and advocacy that results in better quality of life and outcomes, including in housing and employment.
In 2019, Civil Survival will focus on passing legislation that protects the rights and improves outcomes for individuals who have formerly been incarcerated, including fair housing at the state level, opportunity for parole for lifers. Continue to organize grassroots groups of formerly incarcerated folks.
